The Salandar form usually moves with a combination of sliding and shuffling their short legs, as the small reptile seeks to get its tail in a position to defend itself. The tail sways back and forth vigorously striking foes. Occasionally, a Salandar will spin extremely rapidly, the tail lashing out with centrifugal force backed by its great mass. To complement this strong tail attack, the reptile is covered in thick scales which resist most types of attack.
